Everyone has humble beginnings. Jose is no different, having started off in a bike shop, fixing and repairing them. Over time, he worked his way up the food chain. Then one day, a young Jose found himself in a predicament when his vehicle had started giving him issues. He had taken it to multiple mechanic shops and each one of them couldn't find the issue, but Jose, being the keen man he was, found out that the reason his car wouldn't start was because his starter relay was bad. Later on, that would give him a vision, opening Joe's Super Brakes & Tune in 2002, he envisioned changing the automotive world one customer at a time. He wanted to show his community what a real honest mechanic is. Servicing cars one by one by himself in his shop, he knew he was making a difference first for his friends and family, and then gradually, for his community in Torrance, CA.
